A purpose built semi-submersible self-erecting tender assisted drilling (TAD) rig was delivered on 01st November 2001 featuring dual BOP system (21 ¼” 2k & 13 5/8” 10k). The rig is similar design to West Menang and West Pelaut but upgraded with increased storage capacities and for mooring in deep water, to enable it to work on TLPs and SPARs in up to 6,000 feet of water depth with pre-laid mooring.
