The Value We Deliver · Safety
Zero harm is not a target. It is the only acceptable outcome.
Occupational health and safety is central to how we operate. Our onshore and offshore activities carry inherent risks — and we manage them through a structured framework covering everything from daily work authorisation to Board-level oversight. Every person on site, whether employee, contractor or visitor, operates within the same standards. Our number one priority is to ensure that everyone at our operating site, whether colleague, contractor, or client, goes home safely to their families every single day.

NINE LIFE SAVING RULES
Our 9 Life-Saving Rules form the non-negotiable core of how we work. These mandatory controls cover the activities where the consequences of error are most severe —and they apply to every person on every site, without exception. They are not guidance; they are the line between acceptable and unacceptable risk.
THE 9 LIFE-SAVING RULES
01
Bypassing safety controls
Disabling or overriding any safety system without authorisation is strictly prohibited
02
Confined space
Entry requires gas testing, ventilation checks and standby support
03
Driving
Journey management, seatbelt use and device restrictions apply to all road travel on company business
04
Energy isolation
All hazardous energy sources must be isolated, locked out and verified before work starts
05
Hot work
Ignition-risk activities require controlled conditions, fire watch and approved authorisation
06
Line of fire
No person shall position themselves in the path of stored energy, moving loads or projectiles
07
Safe mechanical lifting
Lifts require a lift plan, inspected equipment and exclusion zones under the load path
08
Work authorisation
All non-routine or high-risk tasks require a valid permit to work before any activity begins
09
Working at height
Fall prevention controls must be in place for any work above two metres
